Tournament Rules

  1. The use of electronic devices (smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, etc.) during the game is prohibited.
  2. The player who wins a game must immediately record the result in the designated place.
  3. A player who is more than 20 minutes late for a game loses the game.
  4. By registering for the tournament, the player agrees to the publication of their name, surname, club/city, country, EGD profile, and ranking on the tournament participant list.
  5. By participating in the tournament, the player agrees to the recording of their image (photos, videos) and its later use by the tournament organizer (website, social media profiles, etc.).
  6. The player is committed to ensuring a friendly, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for everyone through their behavior.
  7. The Participation Rules for Go Tournaments in Poland apply. Polish players with a GoR rating of at least 1050 must be members of PSG to participate.
  8. The tournament is one of three qualifying tournaments for the Polish Go Championship, so the Championship Rules apply, as well as the PSG Tournament Rules, which are nearly identical to the EGF Rules.
  9. Tiebreakers: MMS, SOS, SOSOS, direct match, higher ranking on the day of the tournament, lottery.

Data Processing Information

  1. We inform you that the Administrator of personal data is Jakub Gauza (jakub.gauza@go.art.pl).
  2. Registering and participating in the tournament is equivalent to consenting to the processing of personal data and the publication of one's image on social media (based on Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).
  3. The purpose of processing personal data is the organization and promotion of the Porfirion Cup 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the tournament).
  4. Personal data will be processed for the period necessary to achieve the organizational and promotional goals of the tournament.
  5. You have the right to access your data, as well as the right to rectify, erase (details in Article 17), restrict processing (details in Article 18), data portability (details in Article 20), object (details in Article 21), and withdraw consent at any time.
  6. Providing personal data is mandatory under legal provisions, and failure to provide them will result in the inability to participate in the tournament.
  7. Data processing does not involve profiling.
