After two editions in 2023 and 2024, the Quzhou Lanke Cup International Friendly Children Amateur Weiqi Invitational Tournament became the “Championship”. Europe was awarded more qualifying spots compared to previous years. In addition to national teams qualified according to the rules of the Pandanet Youth Go European Team Championships Season Two, a multi-national team of strong European youth players will be selected through the Quzhou Lanke Cup Selection Tournament taking place during the European Go Congress 2025 in Warsaw. The call for participants has been announced on the EGF website on 21st June 2025. Four players and two reserves will be selected for the international EGF teams to travel to Quzhou, China, to represent Europe in October 2025.
