Invitation to the SEYGO Tournament at European Go Congress 2025

Dear young players, parents and coaches,

We are delighted to invite you to a truly special event at the European Go Congress 2025! As part of the congress, we are hosting the Saijo European Youth Go (SEYGO) Tournament, open to all players under 12 (born in 2013 or later) and under 18 years old (born in 2007 or later) from around the world.

The tournament consists of four rounds, played in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. In each age group, 16 top rated players will play a single elimination mini-tournament, leading to clear 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Players who lose continue to play in the "open" section.

Our aim is not only to encourage exciting competition but also to foster cultural exchange and build lasting friendships across borders. Therefore do not hesitate to analyze games with your opponents and ask for advice of stronger players and go teachers available for you!
