Rules of participation

Tournament Rules

  1. Registering for the tournament constitutes consent to the publication of the participant's name, surname, club/city, country, EGD profile, and rank on the tournament participant list.
  2. By participating in the tournament, players consent to have their likeness (photos, video recordings) captured and used by the organizer (website, social media profiles, etc.).
  3. The tournament is conducted in accordance with the PSG Tournament Rules and the Rules of Participation in Go Tournaments held in Poland. Polish Players with a GoR rating ≥ 1050 must be PSG members. More information: PSG Participation Rules
  4. The tournament is supervised by a referee, whose decisions are final in all organizational and dispute matters.

  6. Players must ensure a friendly, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for all participants.
  7. The entry fee is collected during registration on the first day of the tournament.
  8. Rounds start according to the schedule, and clocks are started at the beginning of each game.
  9. A player who is more than 15 minutes late for a game loses the game but may participate in subsequent rounds.
  10. The winner of a game must immediately report the result at the designated location.
  11. Electronic devices must be muted during the game.
  12. Using electronic devices during the game is allowed only with the opponent’s consent and solely for game recording purposes.
  13. Using electronic devices is prohibited when leaving the table during a game.
  14. The use of notes, books, apps, or any other aids during the game is strictly forbidden.
  15. Disrupting the opponent or interfering with the game by third parties is not allowed.
  16. Consuming alcohol, being under its influence, or using other consciousness-altering substances during the tournament is prohibited.
  17. When capturing a group of 3 or more stones, the player is allowed to stop the clock to make their move.
  18. Players may stop the clock when leaving for the restroom, provided they have made their last move.

Data Processing Information

  1. The organizer of the tournament is the administrator of participants' personal data.
  2. Registering for the tournament constitutes consent to the processing of personal data and the publication of the participant’s likeness on social media.
  3. Personal data will be processed for the purposes of organizing and promoting the tournament for the duration necessary to achieve these objectives.
  4. In accordance with RODO, participants have the right to:
    • Access their data and correct it.
    • Request the deletion of their data.
    • Restrict the processing of their data.
    • Transfer their data.
    • Object to the processing of their data.
    • Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
  5. Providing personal data is mandatory for participation in the tournament. Failure to provide this data will prevent participation in the event.
