- The tournament is open to everyone, regardless of playing strength, nationality, race, gender, religion, age, membership in any organizations, political views, or other characteristics that could divide Go players.
- The tournament will not count towards the EGD ranking.
- The use of electronic devices (smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, etc.) during the game is prohibited.
- By registering for the tournament, the player agrees to the publication of their name, surname, club/city, country, EGD profile and ranking on the list of tournament participants.
- The player taking part in the tournament agrees to the recording of their image (photos, videos) and its subsequent use by the tournament organizer (website, social media profiles, TV, newspapers, etc.).
- Players are divided into groups according to their estimated strength. We take into account the EGD ranking, but also the current strength on online Go servers (for players who do not have an EGD ranking or have not participated in any tournament counted for the EGD ranking for a long time). The decision on assigning players to groups is made by the tournament referee.
- After assigning players to groups, the referee creates the results table and the pairings for all rounds until the end of the tournament (in such a way that players immediately know which opponent they will play in each round).
- Rounds are played as two games against the same opponent. Colors in the first game are determined by nigiri. After finishing the first game, players switch colors and play the second game against the same opponent.
- After completing the two-game match, players record the result in the table as 2:0, 0:2, or 1:1, depending on the outcome.
- In case of any disputes, players are encouraged to resolve them among themselves. If that fails, the final decision is made by the tournament referee.
