We kindly invite all Go enthusiasts to the 2nd Felix Dueball Memorial Tournament**, which will take place on 28-29 September 2024. This special event is dedicated to the memory of famous Go player and enthusiast Felix Dueball (1880-1970). Felix was a German Go player, taught by Segoe Kensaku himself (瀬越憲作, 1889-1972) , and he achieved amateur 2-dan. Felix Dueball played with Hatoyama Ichiro in the first international telegraph game in 1936. In 1964, Dueball received Japan's Okura Prize, which is awarded for his contribution to the dissemination and promotion of Go
This year's tournament is the last of three qualifying tournaments for the Polish Go Championship.

Thanks to the initiative of Mr. Rafal Figiel, the Cultural Centre in Jastrowie and the Commune and City of Jastrowie and the cooperation with the Polish Go Association and the Berlin Go Association, we want to honour the figure of Felix through a tournament and an exhibition dedicated to him, which we hope will become a regular event in the Go calendar.
